Where things are up to
Honest about the state — nothing is presented as ready before it really is.
BAREpdf is registered across the BARE suite so work can be queued, but it is not yet built — this landing is an honest placeholder while the scope is defined. When the tooling lands, it arrives mode by mode: edit, make, markup.
